Over 60 years of experience in growing flowers
In 1956 Siem Zoontjes, together with his brother Henk, bought a plot of land on the Oudendijk in Heemskerk where they started growing vegetables and bulbs. The bulbs disappeared from the cultivation plan fairly quickly, after which they concentrated entirely on vegetables.
Family-run business
In 1978 Siem's son, John, joined the business. Over time, there was a gradual switch to flowers and the neighbouring businesses were acquired so that production could be on a somewhat larger and more efficient scale.
Third generation
By now, it is already the third generation that is going to take over the baton. This consists of the brothers Roel and Hein, who are just as driven to produce top quality as the generations before them.
