On the Heemskerk coast, five growers work together under a single brand. In the characteristic sand between sea and dunes, we cultivate tulips with strength, colour and character. Open-ground cultivation, craftsmanship and cooperation form the basis of our consistent quality.
At all CoasTulip growers, the soil is steamed before planting, heating the soil to 90 degrees to remove all diseases and fungi. This provides the ideal foundation for a healthy growth process. The tulips are planted outdoors in the open ground from October to early December, allowing them to root optimally. The flowers are then harvested with the utmost care from January through to May.
