Unique horticultural area
On the North Holland coast, between sea and dunes, our tulips grow under unique conditions. CoasTulip is a collaboration of growers from Heemskerk who are joining forces to fulfil one promise: consistent top quality, all season long.
Our tulips are exclusively grown in open fields on characteristic coastal sand. This ensures strong roots, intense colours and firm stems. Each tulip weighs a minimum of 34 grams and is continuously inspected for quality and uniformity throughout the season.
Unique coastal horticultural area
Open-field cultivation, craftsmanship, and collaboration form the foundation of our consistent quality.
Ideal base
The soil is steamed to 90 degrees before planting. This provides a clean and healthy start for every crop.
Open ground rooting
From October to December, we plant in coastal sand. This ensures strong roots and sturdy stems.
Harvest with care
From January to May, the tulips are carefully harvested and continuously inspected for quality and uniformity.
